SAY WHAT???This morning I was on my way to work, and the first thing I always do when I get to my car is check my fuel meter… and as usual, it was almost empty (I don’t know why I always leave this kind of things to the last minute) after I checked it the first thing that came to my mind was “Oh yeah I will make it” (That's just because north side gas prices are lower) LOL well today I was WRONG!!!
Driving on Lake Shore Drive I had to take the North Ave exit and look for the nearest gas station. I found one and I was ready to get down when I saw the store closed, but people were putting gas… I kept thinking where to go… well not to long after a guy comes up to me and he says “This is a Full Service facility” and my immediate answer was “Say WHAT??” LOL I’ve heard of that kind of gas stations but never actually been to one before… I thought full service uh? Does that come with a hot make out session or something? LOL!!! Well I really had to ask the guy what was I supposed to go, I couldn’t risk it and just go to look for a “normal people gas station type” so he tells me “You can go back to the car” LOL!!!! Am I really a looser??? I felt and still feel ODD! Oi oi oi So the guy does his job and put gas on my car… a very nice guy by the way… so I didn’t know if I was supposed to tip or not… But I did anyway the gas there was WAY to expensive… but I deserve it for NOT paying more attention to my gas gauge… Funny right?
TIME SAVING MY ***!!
Another not to nice adventure of mine happened last week… I had to go to the Mexican Consulate to get a Mexican ID again! Government offices as usual SUCK BIG TIME! Before you needed you go VERY early and stand in line for (Literally) 6 to 8 hours. After years of Mexicans complaining and two presidents on the Mexican government our voices were “heard”. The system changed and for you to not stand in line for hours and hours now you need to make an appointment. Ok, supposed to save you time? Uh uh no, I don’t think so… First of all the appointments are a three month waiting… Once you get your appointment and the day comes this is what you do:
First: you need to stand on the first line for about 20 - 30 minutes
Then: Go to the security guy and ask him for a number
Then: go downstairs to sit and wait for your number to be called… let’s see hmm for like 3 HOURS!
Ugh! I know then they take your picture and if that waiting before wasn’t enough, go to another line to pay and THEN to another area to WAIT 30 more minutes so that they give you the freaking ugly ID… Hay Caramba!

WHY ARE YOU SO F-KING IGNORANT??
Finally, this is something that happened to me at work… as many of you know, we have a large ESL program and of course we have a lot of new recent immigrants that come with a lot of prejudice due to culture, religion, etc etc etc… anyway, I was walking down the hall to go out and buy me a drink next door, there was a group of five young students just hanging out on break time, now think about this (people learning how to speak English) all of a sudden as I was passing them I hear someone say… “Why are you so fucking gay?” EXCUSE ME??? oh yeah, another SAY WHAT?? moment... I looked at them and they just laughed and giggle like stupid little kids… I didn’t know how to react, didn’t want to make a big deal about it… so I just keep walking… but my mind couldn’t stop thinking “why are you so fucking ignorant?” and stupid… out loud hehehe
I dont really know what to make out of this... I just know for a fact that ignorance is amount all races, religions, genres, etc and not only among Mexicans. These things happen i think... right?
