That’s how I describe myself on my new blog at http://photorolo.wordpress.com Yeah I know “Another blog??” and the answer is YES! But it is only for marketing and publicity (whatever you want to call it) purposes. I want more people to visit my flickr page and this blog that’s all. You will find exactly the same posts here and there, only difference is the name and of course the page designs.
In other notes, it’s been so long since the last time I posted something, if you remember or read the last post I was mad and frustrated, I don’t event remember the reason hehehe… (I know I’m LOCO hehehe) BUT since I have been hearing (strangely) from so many of you I decided to get back at my blog and start telling you what’s up with my “vida” right now…
Since I only have only one job now, I have been dedicating a lot of time to it, and I have been doing a lot of "special" projects. That alone, has been keeping me super busy, but none the less I always find time to go around the city and do what I love the most (right now) take pictures. You can see them here.
Some time at the beginning of the month Victor, Fernando, and I went out for the first time in a long time… as you know now it’s really hard for Victor to go out anymore since his work schedule is very tight and always at night. So that Friday night he got out early and we went to one of our favorite places, Mexican restaurant “Cesars” who by the way are changing and not for the good!… We have been going to that place for YEARS!! We used to know every single waiter, busboy, and hostess! Never had a problem getting drinks or anything like that, but around one year ago I herd from a friend that they were getting a little ridiculous with ID’s and they were not accepting the Mexican ID anymore… When I heard that I did not believed it, I mean a MEXICAN restaurant not accepting Mexican ID’s??? (what?) They are supposed to be official ID’s in Illinois. But oh well... That night we ordered our all time favorites “Strawberry/Banana MEGA Margaritas” and just when I finish making my order the waiter at the time asked for ID’s, so all of us got it out and when she saw mine, she said “OH NO! I am sorry we are not accepting this ID anymore” I am sure you can imagine my twisted-confused-surprised-angry face I had for what I was hearing. We then told her that we have been going there for many years (literally) and never had problems before... Then she told us “oh ok but only because I’m nice I’m going to make an exception for you” I was like “UH??” yeeeaaah suureeee… so she did make an “exception” but telling us that no one there would have done the same thing for us. WHATEVER!
Anyway, after a couple of MEGA margaritas and two shots of tequila we were ready to party! I mean I am NOT a bar kind of guy, but that night I just wanted to have a good time… we ended up going to Boom Boom night club out in Berwyn, IL. Well I think I got a little too happy… after I don’t know how many beers, a long island ice tea, and a sex on the beach (which I did not like) and the place closing down on us hehehe we decided to head out to “La Cueva” a 3rd or 4th class bar LOL!! on 26th street (it has very bad reputation) that was the first time I went there and I wanted to just see it for myself. So we got even happier there LOL I know it was way too much (good thing I wasn’t driving) and we stayed there until they close for the nigh around 4 AM. I think that once in a while its good to just let loose and have some fun, the last time I got home around 5 or 6 am was back when I was 24 years old… oh god I’m OLD! (Sigh) hehehe
Another big adventure this month… was going to The Midwest anime and manga convention 2008 at Rosemont, IL, there is not to much to say about it but I had a blas going there and seeing all that people dressed as anime, game, or manga character (cosplay) that’s was super cool… plus, my friend janeth along with Andrea got autographs from the “RED POWER RANGER” LOL!!! (No comments! LOL) I must admit that not all of the costumes were that good but “Saya, from blood+” (pic on the right) was definitely, hands down my favorite…
Finally to finish for today I attended some events of the Chicago 2008 Bear Pride!! YAY!!! Hehehe I must admit I did not, repeat DID NOT want to go, but I promised my friend Gerardo I would go at least once, months before the event.
First off we went to the International Mr. Leather (IML) market and OH MG!!! I have never seen so many HOT bears in one place before! I honestly wish Victor would have been there, I know he would’ve loved it! There were all kinds of “toys” for all kinds of fetishes and likes… Hanging out with Gerardo, Dave from Michigan, Dave and Ken was super cool! I got to meet people I had chat with before but never met on person, most of them seem to be cool. Ah! But I also got to meet a good friend of mine from Virginia (Rick) to whom I have also been talking to for a long time. He is such a relax, cool and super tall guy, met him and his partner (was very happy about it)… Later at night, didn’t plan to go to the dance for X reason but when Victor got home he was a little bumped that he almost never goes out and so I told him to get ready and just go! And so we went… I am glad we did, I had a blast! Was very cool to see how Gerardo got really surprised of seeing us there hehehe and of course I was glad to finish the night hanging out with my friends and of course Victor and being able to have a very good time…
(BTW it is the first time ever!!! That Victor takes his shirt off at a night club!!) Talking about first times uh? Hehehe the day was filled of happy, funny, drooling, weird, sweaty, and awesome moments!! (sigh) ah good life…
